Friendship Thoughts

I am so very far
and I wish I could be
the friend you need most

someone you can talk to
someone who understands you when you do
someone who will keep your words in their heart
and only there.

I may not be that friend
but I will be a friend
who prays, write and misses you.

I wanted to share so many things with you.
I start to cry when I think of them all.
But I am very grateful for the once we did share.

I think back on them
with sadness, because they were so few.
I think back on them
with gladness, because they warmed my heart.

Oh, to be so far from you
what can I do?
All I can say is
that I will be missing you
as each day begins and ends.

I’ll walk with you

once you were a stranger
I was so afraid to be myself
I was afraid that i would get hurt
was afraid to open myself to you
but I had to - because something about you
told me that you would become a friend
and you became someone special

you opened yourself to me
and I got to know the real you

someone who hurts as much as me
someone who knows the pain I know
someone who told me
that it was okay to hurt
and together we could go through it.

And now you are a friend
my own special one from heaven send
you always made me feel special.
You welcomed me in your home and heart.
And for that I’ll always thank you.

I so often remember the times I’ve spent with you
all the precious memories we've made
the laughter, the crying, the fun.

from a stranger to a friend
we've shared it all.
Memories too special to forget.
Times I thought would never end.
But it did.
That is the only thing that I regret.

But we must both go on
living our own lives.
But I will do whatever I can
to help you
in whatever you may be facing
be it sorrow, hardships
laughter etc.

I'll walk on with you
in everything you do
I will always be thinking about you
I will keep you close in my thoughts
and even closer in prayer.

My friendship will be only a thought away
something that will always stay.

we were total strangers
waiting to meet

and that moment come to us
we've spent some time together
the more I spent time with you
the more I began to like you

for you are so special

every day when I spent some quiet time
I often think of you ...
I so often wonder how you are,
what you are doing,
if you are happy ..

If you are okay?
And at times it drives me mad
for I am so sad
I truly miss you
and wish that i can help you
as you journey through this life

but we are so far from each other
and I don't know why
I got to love you and
then I had to leave
but even though we are far apart
you will always be close in heart.

Friendship

friendship is a very strange thing.
When it seems that no one would like you, they do.
When it seems the time we spend with someone special will never end, it does.
But the special times we've shared will never be forgotten because the memories time will never erase.
Dear friend, even though many things changed, one thing will never change is the love i have for you.
In a very short time i got the change to love you and that will be until forever.
You've helped me to understand what it means to be a friend and to have a friend.
