Beloved, she chants.
To me, the reddening day paints only distress -

GREAT! And funny – although
I do not suppose it is meant to be, but it paints a sit-com picture of
marital frustration. Your poem is a warning to all nagging wives and
girlfriends! (And parents?) No wonder Solomon wrote (somewhere in the Book of
Proverbs in the Bible) that it is better to live on the rof
of your house than inside with a nagging wife! |
