The day I knew

The day I saw you, I already knew
this relationship was meant to be!

Your beautiful eyes,
Your lovely smile,
The way you said hi,
It left me speechless for a while.

The touch of your hand
made my heart skip a beat!
The sound of your voice
sent trembles to my knees!

I knew I would love you
for every day after still to come!

Louis	Isn't it great when we just "know"?   It happened to me and we've been together just on 15 years now. Never a day apart, so yes, the piece works for me.  Could be softer, release the exclamation marks as Erna said and you'll have a wonderful, truthful, flowing poem.	2007-10-10
