a hell unknown

you picked me up
you lifted my soul
i felt at ease
i was eager to please
moments i loved
now almost regret
why now do i
have to forget

this love beyond
our minds
we've fallen into
a hell unknown

I picked you up
i lifted your soul
you felt at ease
you were eager to please
moments you loved
but almost regret
why now do you
have to forget

this love
beyond our minds
we've fallen into
a hell unknown

Picture it, the loss and torment of memory perhaps.  Such a tragedy when life and love are forgotten by the mind.

A strong poem, Lyn.  The magic is in the style, short blitzy metre.  A good read. Made me think of the years to come.

I think the greatest writers need only a few lines to get a message across. I'm impressed by the intensity, which is rare these days. This love, which we think is wonderful, is a hell in itself. Hats off to you!
